General

  • 1. What age is Monkey Town suitable for?
    Monkey Town offers fun for children of all ages, with activities best suited to children up to 12 years old. Children aged 4 and above can enjoy the play equipment independently, while our dedicated toddler area provides a safe space for younger children under 4 to play and explore. Children under 2 years old receive reduced admission rates, and for everyone's safety, all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during their visit.
  • 2. Is the ticket valid for the whole day?
    Yes tickets are valid all day. If you plan to leave and return please inform a staff member.
  • 3. Can my children stay alone while I leave?
    No an adult must always be present.
  • 4. Is there a special area or price for toddlers?
    Yes, younger children can enjoy our dedicated toddler play area, specially designed for children under 4 years old. It's the perfect space for little ones to play safely and build confidence at their own pace. Children under 2 years old also receive reduced admission rates.
  • 5. Can I book in advance?
    No advance booking of tickets or tables is not possible except via a Monkey Party. Tickets are available onsite only.
  • 6. Can I pay by debit or credit card?
    Yes, you can pay by debit card or credit card.
  • 7. Are socks required?
    Yes socks are mandatory for children at all times. Grip socks or regular socks are both fine. Socks are available at the counter if needed.
  • 8. Is there a baby changing area?
    Yes.
  • 9. Is there an accessible toilet?
    Yes, there is a accessible toilet on site.
  • 10. Can children with disabilities play at Monkey Town?
    Yes. Please supervise your child as needed.
  • 11. Can I bring pets?
    No pets are not allowed except assistance dogs.
  • 12. Can I take photos or videos indoors?
    Yes but please respect the privacy of other guests and focus on your own children.
  • 13. Is there air conditioning?
    Air conditioning may be available at some locations, please check with your local centre.
  • 14. Is the Laser Arena included in the admission price?
    Yes, all play zones are included within the price.
  • 15. What clothing should we wear?
    It is advised that customers should wear long sleeve tops and trousers, this is to reduce the chance of friction injuries.
  • 16. How long can I stay? What is the time limit?
    As long as you like! At Monkey Town, we believe in keeping things simple – pay once and enjoy unlimited play all day.
    There are no fixed session times, so you can relax, play, eat, and make the most of your visit without watching the clock. Need to pop out during the day? No problem. Just let a member of staff know before you leave, and we'll provide a hand stamp so you can come back later and continue the fun.
  • 17. Can we book the centre for exclusive use?
    Yes! Exclusive hire of Monkey Town may be available for private events, parties, school groups, and special occasions. Simply send us an email or complete our contact form, and a member of the Monkey Town team will be in touch to discuss your requirements and availability.
  • 18. Do you offer NHS or Blue Light discount?
    Yes, NHS/Blue Light card holders get 20% off general admission prices, this does not include party packages or private hire.
  • 19. Do you offer SEND sessions?
    Yes. We run dedicated SEN-friendly sessions designed to provide a more relaxed and accessible play experience for children with additional needs and their families.
    To help create a calmer environment, these sessions operate with reduced capacity, lower music volume, no tannoy announcements, and relaxed age restrictions on selected equipment where appropriate. We also aim to provide consistency and familiar team members wherever possible to help children feel comfortable and confident during their visit.
  • 20. Is advance booking required?
    No, advance booking is not required – you're welcome to simply turn up and play.
    If the centre is busier than you expected, please speak to a member of our team within 15 minutes of your arrival. We'll be happy to arrange a refund if you decide the environment isn't right for your visit.
  • 21. Can I buy socks?
    Yes. We know it's easy to forget socks, especially during the summer when many guests arrive wearing sandals or open-toed shoes. Socks are compulsory for all children and adults entering the play areas, and socks are available to purchase at reception if needed.
  • 22. Do you have first aid qualified staff?
    Yes. Trained first aiders are available. If you or someone in your group requires first aid assistance, please speak to a member of the Monkey Town team as soon as possible and we will be happy to help.
  • 23. Do you have any vacancies?
    Yes, all vacancies can be found on our ‘Careers’ page. If there are no roles listed, we encourage you to check back regularly as new opportunities are added throughout the year.
  • 24. Do you sell gift card?
    At the moment, we don't offer gift cards. However, our 10-Play Session Cards make a fantastic gift for families who love to visit Monkey Town, giving them multiple visits to enjoy throughout the year.

     

Birthdays

  • 1. How can I book a party?
    You can book a birthday party online through our Parties page, where you'll find full details of all our packages and live availability. If no parties are available to book online, this means all party tables have already been booked for your chosen date.
  • 2. What time slots are available?
    Birthday party slots are available from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on weekdays outside of school holidays and public holidays.
    During weekends, school holidays and public holidays, parties can be booked between 10:00am and 6:00pm, subject to availability
  • 3. Is there a waiting list?
    No. When a booking is cancelled it will immediately become available online. You can keep an eye on the website and book as soon as a spot opens..
  • 4. Can I change the number of children attending?
    When making your booking, we recommend selecting the maximum number of children you expect to attend. If your guest numbers change, please contact the centre at least 24 hours before your party to confirm final attendance numbers and arrange payment.
  • 5. Can I change the date of my booking?
    Yes, if your preferred date and time are still available, we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Please get in touch via email or our contact form, quoting your Booking ID and the new date and time you would like to book.  Bookings cannot be moved after 7 days before your party date. If your child is ill, please contact us via our contact form and we can discuss other options.
  • 6. Can I bring my own cake?
    Yes, you may bring a cake. Please ensure you have the allergen sheets for the cake you wish to bring. Other food and drinks are not allowed. We provide plates and cutlery. There is no option to refrigerate cakes.
  • 7. Can I put candles on the birthday cake?
    Yes, candles are allowed. No sparkler candles are permitted. The party assistant will light your candles.
  • 8. Can I personalise my party table?
    All party tables are set up with Monkey Town themed decorations to help create a fun and festive atmosphere. If you'd like to add your own paper plates or napkins, you're welcome to do so. Simply contact us via email or our contact form in advance, and you can decorate your table up to 10 minutes before your party starts.
    To support our unlimited refill system, only Monkey Town cups may be used for drinks.
  • 9. Can I bring confetti or balloons?
    No party items including balloons, confetti, streamers pinatas and sprinkler candles are not permitted.
  • 10. Do I need to count the birthday child?
    Yes, all children including the birthday child must be counted and paid.
  • 11. What are the gift bags?
    The gift bags contain small toys and Monkey Town merchandise, contents may vary.

Food and drinks

  • 1. Can I bring my own food and drinks?
    Baby food is permitted for infants and young children. However, due to allergy considerations and food safety policies, we are unable to allow any other outside food or drinks into the centre.
  • 2. Is the food halal?
    All of our chicken products are Halal.
  • 3. Do you have baby food/bottle-warming facilities for babies?
    Unfortunately, we are unable to warm baby food or bottles. For health and safety reasons, we cannot guarantee the temperature of food or milk once heated and therefore cannot accept the risk of serving items that may be too hot.
  • 4. Are there gluten free food options?
    Yes, we offer gluten free food options, please speak to a Monkey Town team member at your centre.
